ROCK CREEK SENIORS

We again had a very successful Christmas Party/Meeting.  There were 70 members and guests.  Among the guests we had Msgr. Vincent Gatto from Holy Cross, Msgr. Donald Essex from St. Jane’s, Fr. Zygmunt Kurzawinski from Holy Redeemer and our Grand Knight, Roberto Ibáñez and First Lady Mary Jo.  Please keep inviting our clergy to our functions.

I received many compliments on our Club’s performance.  Many thanks to all who helped set-up the hall, prepared and mailed our flyers, handled the reservations, and helped with the clean up afterwards.  Even with a catered affair, there’s always some work to be done.

Chesapeake Bagel again did a great job, plus Dorothy Bush at her piano keyboard kept us entertained.  And don’t forget Charlie Launi and his Bar Crew!

On January 17 we will hold our Luncheon/Meeting at the Anchor Inn.  There will be elections for President, Vice-president and Secretary that day.  These positions are open to all members.  Start your campaigning now!  Joe Royal is chairing this event.  All who did not attend our Christmas Party will receive a flyer on the mail.  Again, Reservations are a must!  Please make them early!

In February ’04 we will have our Valentine’s Party, and in march ’04 our St. Pat’s Party.  These dates will be set by our newly elected officers.
