Our Community Activities Director provides us with many Civic Involvement activities and opportunities to volunteer.  There are always many instances when we can donate goods or food, give a pint of blood or a couple of hours of our time, indeed to lend a hand to all those in need.  All proceeds from the many functions we hold, are earmarked for charitable purposes.

• Rock Creek Council annually recognizes one outstanding:
  

Police Officer
Firefighter, and
Emergency Medical Technician

• Every year, we have a special program to recognize the Catholic School Teacher.  When Montgomery County decided to recognize outstanding teachers in the county, but would not include those teachers from parochial schools, Rock Creek Council, under the leadership of our Chaplain, Msgr. William O'Donnell, started the "Teachers Appreciation and Awards Night."  We then bow to the dedication, sacrifice, and work of love of the teachers at the schools of the seven parishes we serve; That night they receive awards, plaques, a small monetary stipend, and an evening of good food and comradery.
